Firefox web browser, fighting against the widespread use of Microsoft's Internet Explorer has had nearly 50 million downloads, according to its site.
The latest offering from Mozilla is fighting hard as it's new browser is picking up more and more fans.
Firefox is open source, allowing anyone and everyone to view or even change its code. With many security flaws being reported about IE the new browser is being snapped up fast.
One downside of this, is that it is the most standard compliant browser so far, meaning that many websites designed with IE in mind may not look as intended in Firefox - or even worse may not work at all.
